The majority of the team work out of the Head Office in Croydon, however some individuals prefer to be home based as we cover London and the South East. Our cutting edge technology means you can work wherever you want to, with fantastic communication platforms and live access to the entire team, supporting you wherever you are.
Salary
We believe we pay above average salaries and bonuses. Base salaries are negotiable and depend on experience. We offer a generous and achievable bonus scheme which is paid monthly with your salary. We can demonstrate how this will be calculated at interview.

Due to business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Valuation Surveyor to join our expanding and innovative firm of Chartered Surveyors. Responsibilities
The role will involve carrying out residential secured lending valuations and homebuyer reports, servicing our largest and longest standing clients which include some of the worlds most established banks and building societies. We have an impressive client list and drive our success through forging excellent relationships with lenders and delivering a best in class service.
On a day to day basis the successful applicant will survey and value a wide spectrum of residential properties throughout London and the South East. We use, and are developing the latest technology to undertake our surveys and valuations while using the iPad for data capturing. This enables our surveyors to make the best use of their time. We are always coming up with innovative ways to improve efficiency and we encourage everyone to put their ideas forward.
Our Senior Residential Valuation Surveyors work closely with a range of clients and have close contact with lenders. This means not only is the work more varied, but that we are also able to form close working relationships with our client contacts.
What are we looking for?
Arnold & Baldwin welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. We would like to hear from either MRICS or FRICS qualified applicants who have experience in residential valuations. Candidates with MBEng, MCIAT, MCIOB or MICWI qualifications may qualify for our AssocRICS qualification route.
It would be preferable if you have some experience of carrying out mortgage valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, as is IT literacy and the ability to manage varying workloads to tight deadlines.
