Dean Brown

Dean joined Arnold & Baldwin’s Business Development Team as a trainee surveyor in 2024, bringing five years of real estate agent experience and seven years as a trader to his developing surveying career. Currently working toward qualifying as a residential building surveyor by January 2026 through the Sava student route, he combines his business development responsibilities with structured training under experienced RICS surveyors. His background includes hands-on experience within a private practice as a valuer, completing lease extensions, red book valuations, taxation work, airspace development, and freehold/leasehold interest, while also assisting with expert witness reports and findings for claimants against negligent solicitors.

Based in Bromley Borough, Dean’s diverse professional journey – from trading through estate agency to surveying – gives him comprehensive understanding of property markets, client needs, and the practical realities of property transactions. His direct involvement in lease extensions, airspace development, and building surveys provides authentic insight that benefits both his business development work and his progression toward full surveying qualification. Outside work, Dean enjoys staying fit, traveling when possible, and exploring food and music, bringing the same enthusiasm and dedication to his personal interests as he does to building his expertise within the surveying profession.
